Bio

Hello everyone my name is David Reyes.  I am finishing up my Phoenix College stint this semester and planning to transfer to ASU or U of A (whoever is willing to help me more with the cost of my education :) in the upcoming fall semester.  I always loved science, I grew up watching the old Discovery Channel that actually had science in it as opposed to the chupacabra finder shows they air now.  That and some truly incredible teachers made me really love science and develop the willingness to pursue a career in science, more specifically in chemistry.

I am extremely excited to be part of the S-STEM program, I have been wanting to get into an internship early on in my academic career and feel that this is a great start. Many of the internships that I had looked at, required candidates to be juniors or seniors and I almost lost hope on landing an internship before that time.  Luckily I learned about this program with enough time to apply for this semester.  I just wish I would have known sooner! That way I would have been able to start right from the beginning but nonetheless I am glad.
